Project #4 Divination Tool: Saint Mary

Description

This tool is to help fellow Catholic people in memorizing their Hail Mary prayers. Also, I want this tool to attract other people who are interested in knowing Saint Mary to see what type of prayers were created for her.

Design Process

I grew up in a Catholic household. My household is Mexican, and Mexicans have a strong relationship with Saint Mary. Another name they call her is "Our Lady of Guadalupe." At first, I want to try using PHP to have users log their information and journal their personal prayers into the tool. I was having a difficult time embedding the PHP format into my tool. I approach a different way where the user would write what type of miracle they want or what they are grateful for. If the user clicks the prayer button it would reveal one type of prayer for the Hail Mary. I tried to embed two different perspectives for a person to memorize or look at the prayer.

Reflection

I should have started approaching my second way as it was easier for me to achieve that possiblity. The PHP format was bit too complex for me. I like how each button how their own type of reaction to revealing the different type of prayers.
