Project #3 Handmade Websites
Description
For my handmade website I want to focus on the five stages of grief. I don't want to this theme to focus entirely on death, but how people experinece grief through different experiences. My poem will have each stance relating to each stage of grief.
Design Process
I envisionn the first stance relates to "Isolation" as the first stage of grief. The next page will reveal facts of how does isolation feel. I want to embed a giphy that reflects that emotion. Another element I thought will emphasize the emotions through this poem is having anyonymous testinomys of a person who felt isolated. This type of format will be followed through each stage. In the final stage, "Acceptance", I thought of embedding a Youtube video instead of a giphy to show the reader a better explantation of all the five stages of grief.
Draft of my poem
Poem: "Endless Time"
Tick Tick tok , a breeze of isolation. Whose there no one, but you [Isolation]
Everything is consuming my rage [Anger]
I am pleading for my courage back. Cold down to my feet. [Bargaining]
All the tree has no leaves left. My computer has no more power left. The only thing left is to hibernate. [Depression]
As summer solstice comes close Soon the leaves will turn red to yellow to brown. At least I know the sun will always be smiling back at me. [Acceptance]
Sketches I used
Reflection
I enjoyed this website since it was interesting collecting different testimonies. I had to research a lot on Youtube of the various CSS tricks I could use on my website. This project I plan on continuing adding more testimonies.
